WELCOME TO GOULBURN PREP EARLY LEARNING CENTRE
We are a 57-place approved Early Learning Centre, specialising in providing high-quality education for children aged 6 months to 5 years.
At Goulburn Prep Early Learning Centre, we believe in the power of collaboration and place great importance on building strong partnerships between parents, educators, and children. We recognise that when families, teachers, and children work together, it creates a supportive foundation for a child’s learning journey. Open communication and mutual respect are at the heart of everything we do.
Our centre offers a learning environment, combining the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework with the foundational elements of Early Stage One Learning. This approach allows us to provide a seamless transition when our children go to primary school, while ensuring that our children develop essential skills and knowledge in a manner that is both engaging and meaningful. Through this integrated curriculum, we aim to foster a shared understanding of educational values, where every child is encouraged to grow, explore, and thrive.
ATTENDING OUR CENTRE
At Goulburn Prep Early Learning Centre, we cater to children across three key age groups: 0–2 years, 2–3 years, and 3–5 years. In our younger rooms, we focus on supporting children’s developmental milestones through age-appropriate, play-based education.
For children in the year before school, we offer a dedicated school readiness program called Pre-Lit. This program is built around four core pillars: numeracy, literacy, social development, and emotional learning. We believe this comprehensive approach provides children with a strong foundation to thrive and succeed as they transition into primary school.
Our centre is open Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. We require a minimum enrolment of two days per week to help children settle in, build strong relationships, and feel confident and secure in their new environment.
